“My creative journey started the way many good stories do — with a pencil, a stack of printer paper, and absolutely no intention of stopping. Drawing has always been how I make sense of the world. Interestingly, I didn’t start out in art professionally. I studied English Language & Culture, then earned a Master’s in Education & Communication — because I’ve always been fascinated by how ideas move between people.
As it turns out, images are a language too… and a powerful one. I found my way into the animation and illustration industry almost by accident, when the COO of a local animation company saw me sketch in public and promptly offered me a job. What humbly began as a lifelong habit of drawing evolved into a full creative career spanning illustration, design, and animation. I’m still just as obsessed with learning, refining, and filling sketchbooks as ever.
I believe every project has its own pulse. Strong storytelling is what connects us — it’s how ideas land, resonate, and stick. My job is to help shape that connection visually. When I’m not at my Cintiq, you’ll usually find me outside on a run, exploring nature, working on a traditional art piece, reading something thought-provoking… or enjoying a meticulously chosen cup of coffee.
